Photogallery - Visit of school in Kastajibal 2017

Photos are from mayan school Kastajibal, which is supported by Inka endowment fund. Local teachers prepared cultural program for our visit in January 2017. Kids sang songs in mayan language „cakchiquel“, played traditional drum instrument marimba, danced few folks-dances and performed "dance with kites", which purpose according to tradition is to communicate with ancestors who have passed away - indians write letters to deceased on these kites, which are flown on 1st of November.
